Privacy Policy

Satori Studio is a one-person brand strategy studio run by Johan Harvey in Athens, Georgia, USA. This policy explains what information I collect when you visit satoristudio.online, book a call, download a guide or work with me, and what I do with it. In plain terms: I collect only what I need, I never sell it, and you can ask me to see or delete it at any time.

What I collect

Information you give me

• When you book a call: your name, email address and any answers you add to the booking form. Bookings are handled by Calendly.
• When you email me: whatever you choose to include in your message.
• When you download a guide or join the email list: your first name and email address, collected through MailerLite.
• When you become a client: the information needed to deliver your project, such as workshop recordings and transcripts, your answers to questionnaires, brand materials, account access you choose to share, and billing details.
• When you leave a comment on a post: the name, email and comment you submit.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics: Google Analytics, connected through Google Site Kit, records how the site is used: pages viewed, time on page, the site that referred you, device and browser type, and approximate location (city or region level).
• Server logs: my hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and the time of each request, to keep the site secure and working.

How I use your information

• To reply to your messages and schedule calls.
• To deliver the work you've hired me for, and to invoice for it.
• To send the guides and emails you asked for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
• To understand which pages are useful so I can improve the site.
• To protect the site from spam and abuse, and to meet legal and tax obligations.

I don't sell or rent your personal information, and I don't use it for targeted advertising.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files your browser stores. This site uses them for analytics (Google Analytics), for spam protection on forms (Google reCAPTCHA), and to make embedded tools work (Calendly and MailerLite). Caching on the site itself does not store personal information.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on. Some features, such as the booking calendar, may not work if cookies are blocked.

Who I share it with

I share information only with the services that help me run the business, and only what each one needs:

• Hostinger (website hosting)
• Google (analytics, fonts, reCAPTCHA spam protection, and email and file storage)
• Calendly (scheduling) and video meeting tools such as Zoom (calls and workshops)
• MailerLite (email list and guide delivery)
• Dropbox (file storage for client work)
• Transcription and AI writing tools, used to turn workshop recordings into draft deliverables

When I deliver work through a partner agency, your information is shared with that agency only as part of the engagement you've agreed to. I may also disclose information if required by law.

Client work and Brand Foundation Hubs

What you share in workshops is treated as confidential. I use it only to create your deliverables, and I won't publish your materials, quote you or name you as a client without your permission.

Your Brand Foundation Hub sits on a private page with its own password and is hidden from search engines. You decide who receives the password. If you'd like your Hub taken down at any point, just ask and I'll remove it and hand over the files.

The sample Hubs on this site are for fictional companies. Every name, photo and figure in them is illustrative.

How long I keep it

• Enquiries and booking details: for as long as we're in conversation, and up to two years afterwards.
• Email list: until you unsubscribe.
• Client records: for the length of our work together, then as long as needed for tax and legal purposes (typically up to seven years). Workshop recordings are kept while your deliverables are in progress, and you can ask me to delete them at any time.
• Analytics data: kept according to the retention settings in Google Analytics.

Your choices and rights

You can ask me at any time to:

• see the personal information I hold about you
• correct anything that's wrong
• delete your information
• stop sending you emails

Depending on where you live, including the EU, the UK and several US states, you may have additional rights under local privacy law. Email me and I'll respond within 30 days. I won't treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, client files are kept in access-controlled storage, and Hubs are password protected. No system is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect what you share.

Children

This site and my services are for businesses and professionals. They aren't directed at children under 16, and I don't knowingly collect their information.

Where your information is stored

I'm based in the United States, and most of the services above store data in the US. By using the site, you understand your information may be processed there.

Links to other sites

Posts and portfolio pages link to other websites. Their privacy practices are their own, so it's worth checking their policies.

Changes to this policy

If I change how I handle your information, I'll update this page and the effective date at the top.
